Each residential, resident suite offers many amenities. Suites are bright, spacious and equipped with a daybed and comfortable recliner for family members who wish to stay close. Large windows in each suite overlook Chippewa Creek and Laurier Woods for a quiet, peaceful and private ambiance. Wheelchairs are available and beds can easily be wheeled to the common areas such as the dining room, family room, sacred room or screened in porch in the warmer weather. Family and loved ones are encouraged to participate in resident care as much as they wish and will have access to the facility 24 hours a day.

Our specialized palliative care team is accessible 24 / 7 and those who are without a doctor will have one assigned. Each resident will have a personalized care plan, designed to meet their need and requests.

“Our residents may only have a few days left and we are ready to provide comfort in their final days. We will accommodate our resident’s wishes whether that means a therapeutic bath, a family dinner cooked by our chef or have a beloved pet staying in the resident suite”, says Lindsay Campbell, Care Coordinator at Nipissing Serenity Hospice. “We are committed to our residents mind, body and spiritual care.”
