The Nipissing Serenity Hospice monthly 50/50 lottery provides us with essential funds to ensure that our residents continue to receive the best in end-of-life palliative care.  Although we are approximately 60% funded by the Ontario Government, we rely on fundraising and the support of the public to fulfil our mandate.  Our services are FREE to all residents of the Nipissing and East Parry Sound Districts.

Thank you for your support!

Congratulations to May’s 50/50 raffle winner, Samantha Coleman who took home the grand prize of $9,420!
Born and raised in North Bay, Samantha, her husband and their two boys reside in Mattawa and are in the process of getting their farm up and running. She plans to use her winnings to kickstart some renovations and get some equipment for the farm. After seeing a post on Facebook, she bought a ticket on a whim, and it turned out to be a great purchase. Congrats Samantha!

April Winner – Norm Hillock – $14,865

Congratulations to our first 50/50 raffle winner, Norm Hillock who took home April’s grand prize of $14,865!
Hillock was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, but has called North Bay home since 1993. He has been a Lions club member for 39 years and knows how hard Covid-19 has been on fundraising. “I support what you’re doing and I’ll support it again…it’s a great cause,” says Hillock. Mr. Hillock plans on spending his winnings on renovating his three-season screened-in porch.
