Donating monthly and annually helps us ensure the ability to sustainably provide quality, compassionate end-of-life care and grief and bereavement support for many years to come.
Why Become a Donor?
Monthly giving is a wonderful giving option for both you and those supported by NSH. Our Hospice Heros Donor Program allows you to spread your donations out during the year, providing us with a dependable base of support. This ensures your donation is invested in long-term projects to benefit our residents and their families.
Why donate regularly?
- A steady and predictable source of income to ensure we can consistently serve our residents free of charge;
- Donations acquired with substantially lower administrative costs than other fundraising methods;
- Donations will help provide grief and bereavement support programs to those in great need;
- The ability to plan ahead and invest in long-term projects to benefit our residents and their families.
Donations throughout the year will be tax receipted once at the end of the year, instead of each time a donation is made.
How To Give
Cheque/Cash
- You can either start a pledge, or simply donate regularly without a pledge.
- To start a pledge, you must fill out a General Donation/Pledge Form. Please contact us to access the form.
- You can donate at whatever interval in which you are most comfortable (ie. monthly, bi-monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months, annually).
- Tax receipts for pledges will be mailed out at the end of the calendar year. All other donations will have receipts mailed out within 4 weeks of the donation.
- Cheques are made payable to Nipissing Serenity Hospice. Cash and cheque donations can be made in person at or by mail to:

Direct Bank Transfer
- Fill out a General Donation/Pledge Form. Please contact us to access the form. We will also require either a void cheque or your direct deposit information.
- Donate at whatever interval in which you are most comfortable (ie. monthly, bi-monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months, annually).
- Start your pledge, or simply donate regularly without a pledge (Pledges are automatically processed on the 1st of the month).
- Contact us at any time to make changes to your pledge.
- Tax receipts will be mailed out at the end of the calendar year.
Credit Card
- Fill out a General Donation/Pledge Form. Please contact us to access the form. We will also require your credit card details.
- Donate at whatever interval in which you are most comfortable (ie. monthly, bi-monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months, annually).
- Start your pledge, or simply donate regularly without a pledge (Pledges are automatically processed on the 15th of the month).
- Contact us at any time to make changes to your pledge.
- Tax receipts will be mailed out at the end of the calendar year.
Online (credit card)
- Only monthly donations can be made using the form below on this page.
- This online form will automatically charge the credit card you provide on the date of your choice.
- You can log onto your CanadaHelps.org profile to control the details of your pledge and access your annual tax receipt.
No terms are required. Monthly/annual donations can be cancelled at any time.
