How to Participate
Here’s how you can participate. Create an individual page, or join a team page. Then start collecting donations for NSH and reward yourself with a hike on thanksgiving weekend!
Hike for Hospice is a hybrid event so you can join us for an in-person hike at the Hospice, or hike from home in your own community!

Become a Sponsor for our 2025 Hike for Hospice!
Hike for Hospice 2025 will take place on Friday, October 10th, with a physical hike and BBQ at the hospice from 12-2:30 pm. From October 10th to the 13th, participants are encouraged to raise funds online and then hike in their local area.
The programs and services offered at the Hospice are free of charge to those who reside in the Districts of Nipissing and East Parry Sound. Although we are partially funded by the Provincial government for direct clinical care (salaries for RN’s, RPN’s and PSW’s), we still need to raise around $1.3m annually to support our programs, operate our facility and enhance our residents’ experience. The Hospice relies on fundraisers (like our Hike for Hospice!) and the generosity of our community, with 100% of the funds raised going right back into our programs and services!
Sponsors receive: promotion on our social media channels to over 4,000 followers, e-blasts to over 4,500 contacts, logo on promotional materials, Hydro insert, on our new website, route signage, digital ads and radio ads.
This year marks our 10th anniversary of hosting our annual Hike for Hospice event. Our goal for 2025 is to raise $100,000 and with your support we will reach it! Enclosed is an outline of the sponsorship levels available. Deadline for sponsorship is June 27, 2025.
