Grief & Bereavement Support Group

Let our mental health and wellness team help you navigate your personal healing journey.

 

On the first and third Tuesdays of every month from 7-8:30pm, we host a group grief & bereavement support session at the Village at Canadore College (100 College Drive, North Bay). These sessions are open to all of our past families and members of the community at large.

West Nipissing Grief Support Group

Our mental health and wellness team is here to support and guide you on your path to healing.

 

On the fourth Tuesday of every month from 1:30-2:30pm, we host a group grief support session at the West Nipissing Community Health Centre (68 Michaud St, Sturgeon Falls). These sessions, in collaboration with Connective Care are open to all of our past families and members of the community at large.

 

Registration is REQUIRED, to ensure we have enough space for everyone. Please contact Desiree at 705-753-0151 or at [email protected] to register for each session.

Bereaved Parents Peer Support Group

NOTE: This group is not run by Nipissing Serenity Hospice

A safe and compassionate space for parents to connect with others who understand the experience of the loss of a child.

On the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm, this peer-led support group meets at the Jack Garland/North Bay Airport (50 Terminal St, North Bay) in the Boardroom, and it provides an opportunity to share, honour a child’s memory, and reduce the isolation that often accompanies grief. The group is free of charge.
