Volunteer positions include (but are not limited to):
Kitchen – assist in making meals and baking for our residents and their families to help alleviate some of their burden.
Gardening/Landscaping – assist in beautifying our property by planting, trimming bushes, weeding, lawn maintenance and outdoor cleanup.
Administrative – help to welcome all visitors arriving at the Hospice, facilitating any new arrivals and screening as required.
Compassionate Care Volunteers – responsible for providing bedside support to residents and their families during the end-of-life and grieving processes. These supports may be emotional, spiritual or simply a conversation partner.
Music - entertain our residents and their families and friends, to help provide some comfort and joy
Fundraising – help with fundraising events and activities. As a not-for-profit, fundraising is required to raise money for our continued efforts in providing excellence in palliative care.
