What is the Hike for Hospice?

Hike for Hospice takes place on Thanksgiving Weekend (October 8-11).  Leading up to the date, participants are encouraged to register (individual or a team) and raise funds, or donate to one of our past resident’s teams and then celebrate their accomplishments with a hike, walk, run or bike around the block, in their community or on a suggested route.

It’s simple.  Get together with your family or bubble, have a Thanksgiving meal, and then take a hike … anywhere at anytime.

What is the theme?

Since opening our doors, we have served close to 140 residents, their caregivers and families. In 2021, we are Honouring our Residents by creating team pages in their memories for people to donate to. Learn more about these people and their journeys.

What is the goal?

The goal for this year’s Hike For Hospice is $50,000

*Registration is free, however, we do ask that you make a minimum donation of $25 and get tax receipt!
